Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Doris (Murphy) & Skip Jones says:

“Margaret, Johnny, Judy, Betty Jean & families: What a horrible month this has been for you all. David’s mother, Evelyn, Oscar’s Aunt, Mary Helen Saunders, and now Oscar, I am speechless with trying to find the right words to offer our condolences, it is so hard losing a family member, but during the holidays it makes it even harder. You will always have your wonderful memories to help ease the pain, and I know how close all of you have been. I was at Oscar & Margaret’s wedding, and I remember the reception being held at Uncle Freddy’s & Aunt Gwynette’s house, and I was also at their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Oscar and Margaret were very close, they would always come and visit Mom & Dad, and they really enjoyed seeing them and thought so much of them. I’ve known them all of my life, and Skip & I are so sorry that we will be unable to attend any of the services for Oscar,(We now live in Florida, only 1 1/2 miles from Dedie and her family) but the Schuhart family will all be in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless each and every one of you. With love, Doris & Skip Jones”

I will always remember the times Mr. Schuhart would take my Dad and I to sell our beans in baltimore. I was a small child and seeing the city was like a new world to me.We would leave out in the early morning before light so as to beat the crowd at the weight station of the grainery. I specially enjoyed the story’s of the good old days told by Mr.Schuhart and my Dad. We would get to laughing so hard at times,It’s a wonder how we stayed on the road. Mr. Schuhart was a Good man indeed and will be greatly miss… “

He would come in each morning like clockwork to get his mail and engage us with the most witty conversations. We could always count on him to brighten our day and he always had us laughing before he left. I have missed hearing his voice the past few months since he has not visited us in awhile. I know he will be greatly missed by many and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. “
