“To all that knew and loved Kathy, I know by experience that: trust puts anxiety to rest and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding of what’s happening right now, will guard your hearts and minds. You will get through all that has to be taken care of… just remember to take care of yourselves first (that’s hard to do, but it is the most important piece). Take solace in knowing that the Lord saw Kathy’s unformed body and her ordained days on this earth were written in His book before one of them came to be. Believe that God is sufficient – His Grace is sufficient for you and His power is made perfect in your weakness – for when you are weak, He is strong. Lean into the arms of Jesus, let Him hold you. Picture yourself crawling into His lap and resting your head on His chest – and tell Abba Father (Daddy God) just how it is, He’s waiting… Life is preparation for eternity. I believe that when our loved ones are taken away, they were taken away from evil and are given peace. Those who live as God wants, find rest in death. May God’s love heal your sorrow and His peace replace your heartachce with warm loving memories. Always remember that Kathy will be a bigger part of your future than what time you had her here on earth – because eternity never ends. She will always be as close as a memory, and the God of all comfort is always as close as a prayer. Sharing in your sorrow, Janet & Richard (Flick) Pilkerton “
