“Brenda – Tom just told me about Peter’s passing. He and Peter’s path crossed on the base and he knew him as a hard worker and well respected. I am in Kentucky with my daughter and her family for a visit. Mary told me some time ago about Peter’s illness, and we have both kept the two of you in our prayers. After Mary and I ran into the two of you at the Xmas house tour we couldn’t stop walking down memory lane and enjoying rehashing such sweet times of being young. Knowing Peter at the grocery store as a kid, the times at Father Andrew White and you, Mary and I going to one another’s homes, the fun times at Pennies, you and Peter getting together and how sometimes opposites are meant to spend a lifetime together. Certainly Peter was always full of life and everyone loved his smile, his laugh and his never knowing a stranger. You, his beautiful, quiet and gentle wife who not only accepted but loved this man who went “full bore” and how he always looked at you with awe in his eyes at having been so lucky. It was still there when we saw the two of you at the tour (a few years since we were teenagers!) You two certainly showed the world sometimes opposites can bring balance and bring out the very best of one another and last a lifetime It is these times that challenge us to live our faith. For certainly if the teachings of Father Andrew White days and our beliefs are there we do know Peter rests in God’s kingdom and he knows joy nothing on earth could compare. Unfortunately, for those who loved him even knowing this only can soften the loss a bit. Hopefully, the prayers of old and present friends will give all of you strength and help you move forward in this difficult time. Take care of yourself and know that much love comes your way. “
“Dear Rich & Tiffany, Our deepest sympathy to you both and the entire Curry Family during this very difficult time. “Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know that they are happy. ” Inuit Proverb “

“I offer my deepest sympathy to the family. Know that your tears do not go unnoticed by the Creator of life. (Psalm 34:18) According to Genesis 2:16,17 we know that it was never his purpose that humans experience death. The Bible does assure us that the resurrection will take place and we will one day be reunited with our dear loved ones again. Of this we can be certain because God always fulfills his purposes and promises. (John 5:28,29; Rev.21:4) “
“I have been searching for words to post here since I heard the news. On the way home today I was listening to a song that finally inspired me. The words were ‘it’s not what job you had, where you lived, it’s the life you lived that matters…” After seeing the lines all the way around Towne Florist before during and after Prayers and hearing the beautiful testimony at both the Prayers and the church service, it’s obvious Peter, and indeed all of you, lived a good life. You are a beautiful family and I know that your love and grace will sustain you, till we meet again. “
“Brenda & Family, hope you remember me from the Leonardtown Supermarket days. I am Aggie (Wilkinson) Owens’ son Tony. It has been some time since I’ve seen you and Peter. Over the years reminised many times with the Joseph family about the store and the Curry family. So sorry to hear of Peter’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all the Curry family.”
“Dear Brenda and family: I have just received the news of the loss of Peter. I remember going to the family grocery store and meeting Peter and his family. Peter was a very special person and I truly loved his family. He was always smiling and had a little something to brighten your day. So, sorry I was unable to be at prayers, but just found out today. Love to all your family and God bless you. “
“My Prayers of Peace to the Family. What a kind Man who always had a smile on his face. We don’t carry those two traits unless we have Love in our heart & home, & Faith that keeps us through our days. “
