Interment will be private. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. Katherine “Kathy” Lee Kolbe, 47, of Leonardtown, MD formerly from Avenue, MD passed away on March 2, 2014 in Callaway, MD surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 5, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Betty L. Lacey and James G. Lacey, Sr. Kathy was the loving wife of Ralph D. Kolbe, Sr. whom she married on April 23, 1999 in Avenue, MD. Kathy is survived by her children; Jessica D. Kolbe and Ralph D. Kolbe, Jr. both of Leonardtown, MD and 1 grandchild Rylan James Kolbe. Siblings; Pat Richardson of Ohio, Dala Brecar of Mechanicsville, MD, James Lacey, Jr of MS, Lucheria Fox, Mary Bowles, Paula Lathroum all of Leonardtown, MD, Dudley Lacey of Great Mills, MD, Johnny Lacey of Hollywood, MD, and Norman Lacey of California, MD. She is preceded in death by her brother Mike Lacey. Kathy graduated from Leonardtown High School and worked as a food preper and caregiver. She enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with family, playing with her grandson Rylan, and bonfires. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 7, 2014 from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD.
