Services: A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Morganza, MD with Fr. Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Kyle, Brandon, Jason, Chad, Travis and Randy. Honorary pallbearers will be: Grandchildren , Great Grandchildren, Wade Mattingly, Bob Wood, Richard Potts, Steve Bailey, Cathy Bailey, Claudia Mattingly and Mike Yowaski. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 4:30 PM ~ 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel. Mary Agnes "Aggie" Farrell 79 of Compton, MD., passed away on May 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born August 25, 1934 in Pearson, MD., she was the daughter of the late Charles J. Mattingly Sr, and Agnes Gertrude Miles Mattingly. Aggie is survived by her husband James "Arthur" Farrell, whom she married on April 12, 1958 in Holy Angels Church Avenue, MD., children: Jay A. Farrell (Justine), Judy M. Shetler (Les), Gary V. Farrell (Debbie) and Ronald "Ronnie" Farrell all of Mechanicsville, MD., Janet F. Cratty (Tim) of Prince Frederick MD., Ruth Ann Lacey (Sommey) of Clements, MD., and Dale P. Farrell of Hollywood, MD. Grandchildren: Kristin, Jason, Travis S., Laura, Randy, Tiffany, Krista, Brandon, Travis C., Kyle, Chad, Faith and Kevin, great-grandchildren: Breanna and Hailey. She is also survived by her siblings: Miles Mattinlgy of Clements, MD., Ann Mattingly of Culpepper, VA., Betty Potts and Margaret Yowaski of Leonardtown, MD., Ruth Brown of La Luz, NM., Mary Jane Mattingly of Port Deposit, MD., Joan F. Raley of Avenue, MD., and twin brother Joe M. Mattingly of Chaptico, MD. In addition to her parent's Aggie was preceded in death by her brother Charles Jenks Mattingly, Jr. Aggie was a Budget Analyst for the U.S. Government retiring in March of 2003. She was also the Receptionist for the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home for many years. Mary Agnes "Aggie" Farrell 79 of Compton, MD., passed away on May 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born August 25, 1934 in Pearson, MD., she was the daughter of the late Charles J. Mattingly Sr, and Agnes Gertrude Miles Mattingly. Aggie is survived by her husband James "Arthur" Farrell, whom she married on April 12, 1958 in Holy Angels Church Avenue, MD., children: Jay A. Farrell (Justine), Judy M. Shetler (Les), Gary V. Farrell (Debbie) and Ronald "Ronnie" Farrell all of Mechanicsville, MD., Janet F. Cratty (Tim) of Prince Frederick MD., Ruth Ann Lacey (Sommey) of Clements, MD., and Dale P. Farrell of Hollywood, MD. Grandchildren: Kristin, Jason, Travis S., Laura, Randy, Tiffany, Krista, Brandon, Travis C., Kyle, Chad, Faith and Kevin, great-grandchildren: Breanna and Hailey. She is also survived by her siblings: Miles Mattinlgy of Clements, MD., Ann Mattingly of Culpepper, VA., Betty Potts and Margaret Yowaski of Leonardtown, MD., Ruth Brown of La Luz, NM., Mary Jane Mattingly of Port Deposit, MD., Joan F. Raley of Avenue, MD., and twin brother Joe M. Mattingly of Chaptico, MD. In addition to her parent's Aggie was preceded in death by her brother Charles Jenks Mattingly, Jr. Aggie was a Budget Analyst for the U.S. Government retiring in March of 2003. She was also the Receptionist for the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home for many years. Contributions may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Manor House Compton, MD and/or Hospice of St. Mary's PO Box 625 Leonardtown, MD 20650. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 4:30 PM ~ 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel. Services: A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Morganza, MD with Fr. Keith Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Kyle, Brandon, Jason, Chad, Travis and Randy. Honorary pallbearers will be: Grandchildren , Great Grandchildren, Wade Mattingly, Bob Wood, Richard Potts, Steve Bailey, Cathy Bailey, Claudia Mattingly and Mike Yowaski.
