The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD.

James “Bugs” Floyd Downs, 85 of Clements, MD passed away on September 1, 2014 at his residence. Born December 16, 1928 in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of the late Joseph Floyd Downs and Annie Adele Buckler Downs.
“Bugs” was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Elizabeth Downs.
He is survived by his children; Francis Eugene Downs, Charlotte Faye Buckler and David Earl Downs, siblings; Helen Faunce, Jean Downs, Preston Downs, Leonard Downs and Robert Downs.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD.
