Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. Nellie Martha Jarboe, 104, of Hollywood, MD passed away in Lexington Park, MD on December 24, 2014. Born on april 8, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Carrie Witherstein Dare and Joseph Dare. Nellie was the loving wife of the late Carroll (JR) Jarboe whom she married on July 20, 1932 in Baltimore, MD. Nellie is survived by her son; Michael Jarboe of Hollywood, MD., granddaughter Lynn Jarboe Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Anna Petr, Caroline Thompson, Robert Dare, and Mary G. Williams. Nellie moved from Baltimore, MD to St. Mary’s County in 1947 and was a homemaker. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD.
