Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 12:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery Helen, MD. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 11:00AM – 12:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. Ellen Elizabeth Armiger, 71, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on December 25, 2014 at her residence. Born on April 26, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Cora Burch Morgan and Joseph Johnson Morgan. Ellen was the loving wife of James Marty Armiger whom she married on December 29, 1962 in Leonardtown, MD. Ellen is survived by her children; Timothy English (Janet) , Edward Armiger (Rose), Annette Haycraft, Larry Armiger (Tammy), 8 grandchildren; Heather, Jenn, Stacy, Tim, Ronnie, Jr., Caitlin, Nicole, and Brady, 7 Great grandchildren; Branden, Remi, Frankie, Elle, Lena, Arianna, and Jayden. Siblings; Gladys, Stella, and Phyllis. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Lala, Ethyl, Hilda, Woodley, and Ed. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at Noon with Deacon Bill Nickerson officiating. Interment will follow in Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery Helen, MD. Pallbearers; Richard, Mark, Timothy English, Bill McLaughlin, Larry Armiger, and Brandon Blas.
