Services: A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Vincent Eugene Shields, of Piney Point, Maryland passed away at his home, on Monday January 12, 2015, he was 55. Vince was born on November 10, 1959 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to the late Milton E. Shields and Theresa B. Shields. Vince is survived by his daughter, Amanda Shields (Sean Schramm) of Leonardtown, Maryland, a brother Terry K. Shields (Tina) of Shelocta, PA, three sisters Ellen A. Gullace of Indiana, PA, Brenda M. Shirley (Tim) of Indiana, PA and Cindy M. Shields (Ken Karpik) of Indiana, PA, along with 9 nephews 1 niece and several great nephews and nieces. He was anxiously awaiting the birth of his first grandchild Erik George Vincent Schramm.Vince moved here in the late 1980’s from Pennsylvania. He was a drywall mechanic and worked for several contractors in the Southern Maryland area. He enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his daughter and friends. He was a kind and giving person and was always there in the event a friend or family member needed help with anything. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. A Trust fund has been opened for the benefit of his grandson. Contributions can be made to the Erik George Vincent Schramm Trust at Cedar Point Federal Credit Union, Leonardtown, Maryland.
