Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 17, 2005 at 10:00 AM in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bushwood, MD with Father Francis Early officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation: Public Viewing & Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2005 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with Prayers being said at 7:00 PM Joseph Ernest "Buster" Lacey, Jr., 71, of Clements, MD formerly of Leonardtown, MD died June 14, 2005 in Clements, MD. Born September 27, 1933 in Milestown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Joseph Ernest and Alice Marie Lacey, Sr. He was the loving husband of Agnes Marie Lacey whom he married on September 30, 1995 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bushwood, MD. He is survived by his sister: Ann Scott of California, MD. He was also preceded in death by his sisters: Regina Connelly, Dorothy Hagan and Kitty Lacey. Mr. Lacey was a life long St. Mary's County resident and graduate of Great Mills High School Class of 1953. He was a self-employed carpenter until his retirement in 2003. He also enjoyed rabbit hunting. He served in the U.S. Army from November 24, 1953 until August 13, 1962. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 16, 2005 from 4:00 â?? 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, with Prayers being said 7:00 PM.
