Bobby was such a nice person. He had that little smile that seemed to say he knew something you didn’t! He was one of my father’s best friends and I have fond memories of the two of them laughing over something – most of the times they were ever together.
I am so sorry he is gone and please know I share at least a small portion of your huge loss.
We are so sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. He was such a gentleman and a great help at our Christmas bazaars at St Francis Xavier. He will always be remembered as a good friend. May God bring you comfort and peace in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear about Bobby. He was the most KIND and HONEST man I have ever known. When I lived in Maryland and needed any work done on a car, Bobby was always there to either fix it or give advice on how to do it. He always seemed to have time to talk and help. Although I haven’t seen Bobby for almost 3 years, we did keep in touch with a few phone calls here and there. He will be TRULY missed by all of his family and friends.
Brenda and family, I remember your dad from Haydens Auto and enjoyed dealing with him there. He was such a nice person. Thinking of you all at this time.

Elaine, Cheryl, and Brenda, so sorry to hear of the passing of Bobby. Dad (and I) really enjoyed the time with Bobby attending Redskin games years ago. Sometimes they might have had too much fun (if you know what I mean). I did most of the driving those last couple years. Ha! Ha! Dad really looked forward to those Sunday afternoons with Bobby. Bobby had a way of making you feel very comfortable…a very sincere man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire Mattingly family.
To my loving family Lainie,Sherry & Brenda,I know how your heart aches about losing Bobby. When I lost our father “Louis” I lost my father and my best friend and now I’ve lost my brother and also my best friend. Bobby reminded me every time I saw him which was very often he reminded me of my father. They were so much alike and I cherished every time we were together. It was Louis’s way and Bobby’s way. I had a tough time losing Daddy and now Bobby but I know they are together again as well with all our family and they will help all of us through this sad time. Bobby, “I LOVE YOU BUDDY” and I will always miss you. Rest in peace and pray for us down here. I promised you that I will take care of Lainie and I will, Love Jamie & Brenda
