  1. I am going to miss visiting with this sweet, kind lady in the St. Mary’s County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. I never heard her complain . She always said that she was as well as could be expected. I used to love playing cards with her. So long,Dolly, until we meet again.

  2. We lived beside Herman and Dolly for many, many years. They were such pleasant people to know, and we were very close to them. We loved them like family. Dolly made me one of her beautiful quilts, which I will cherish forever. RIP in heaven, with Herman!

  7. Dear Anita, Estelle & family, I was saddened
to hear of Dolly’s passing. As you know I was also neighbors of Dolly & Herman years ago. I have fond memories of Dolly as she was always so kind to me & my children. She was an excellent seamstress & whenever I needed her help she was always willing to give me a hand. She will now be reunited with Herman in God’s Kingdom.

  8. Joyce Anderson Spalding says:

Aunt Dolly was a very soft-spoken, kind-hearted lady. I have many fond memories of walking “along the road” to visit with she and Uncle Herman. They too, were my biggest supporters for fundraisers during school days. I will miss her and seeing her at the Nursing Center but, I know she is in a much better place in Heaven and she and Uncle Herman are rejoicing with laughter. God Bless her!

  9. Aunt dolly was one of the sweetest lady’s I knew, my thoughts and prayers go out to grandma Anita and the family. I would of loved to be there at this sad time. God bless this family. Love and miss you all.

  10. Linda (Thompson) and JF Long says:

God has a new very special angel! Miss Dolly was one of the sweetest and dearest ladies that I’ve ever met. She always had a smile but never a complaint. I am thankful that my Dad and I were able to visit with her over the past year or more while they were at St. Mary’s Nursing Home. She was always so happy to see my Dad come into her room to visit. Estelle and Anita, you both were so good to her and she loved you dearly. RIP Miss Dolly, you will be missed!
