My heart is truly broken to hear of Carl Brown’s passing today. Carl was a long time resident of St. Georges Island and was loved dearly by so many. He was like a father, uncle, grandpa and great friend to so many of us. Even though Carl was handicapped it never stopped him from doing the things he loved and doing so many nice things for others all his life. You will truly be missed by all “Uncle” Carl. We love you forever & you will be in our hearts & memories always. Love, Jodi & Shelby Carroll and Linda Scott & Family.
Dearest Carl, you are whole once again and in heaven with your family. You fought a long hard battle, but you never let it get you down. May God hold you in his loving arms and bless your soul. Until we meet again.
Jeff: I send my sincere condolence to you and your family on the passing of your dad, Carl. I recall many many times you all stopping by my parents home to talk and laugh. He will be missed. You have great memories to hold on to, buddy. If you need anything, please let me know. God bless, Todd
Carl was one of the employees already there when I went to work for NANEP in 1956. His love of baseball was already apparent, and obvious, even then. He was always amiable and a good worker. I was fortunate enough to know him until I retired in 1983. He was a good man and a pleasure to know. There aren’t many of us left from that time, sorry to say.
I will miss my friend I will miss how much he loved me and my family. You fought so hard and long you never let your disability to let you down I am very proud of you and how courageous you were you never let it slow you down or limit you to live your life and you always would help me no matter what I will miss you my friend I love you
