Beth Helene Acevedo

Beth H. Acevedo, 53, of Leonardtown, MD passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on November 1, 2015. Born on January 16, 1962 in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Grace Thiessen and Lester Thiessen of Indiana. Beth was the loving wife of Edwin Acevedo whom he married on April 16, 2009. Beth is survived by her children: Lori Darrow, Ben Darrow, Abe Darrow, and 1 grandchild. Siblings: Glen Thiessen, Dean Thiessen, Dave Thiessen, and Eileen Reep. Beth worked as a technical writer for multiple contractors. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, antiquing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM in the SAYSF Church Lexington Park, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 AM with Pastor Larry Crabtree officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be: Ben Darrow, Glen Thiessen, Johnathan Jones, Abe Darrow, and Dean Thiessen.
