Ellen Genevieve Hall

Ellen Genevieve Hall, 77, of Leonardtown, MD passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 28, 2016. Born on October 15, 1938 in Leonardtown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Helen Genevieve Bowles Wilkinson and Joseph Percenete Wilkinson, JR. Ellen was the loving wife of the late Charles “Charlie” Aloysius Hall whom she married on November 30, 1957 in Washington, DC and who preceded her in death on June 19, 2014. Ellen is survived by her children: James Michael “Mike” Hall (Joan), Deborah Lynn Brooks (Warren), David Keith Hall (Nancy), Edward Dale Hall (Robin), and Nancy Ellen Borgschulte (John); 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and nephew; Johnny Lacey, (Pat).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with prayers recited at 7:00PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Aloysius Catholic Church Leonardtown, MD with Father Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Raymond (Ray) Daniel Brooks, James (Michael) Hall, Jr. Justin Edward Hall, Joseph (Jay) Charles Hall, David (Kyle) Hall, and Franklin (Frank) Forsythe Ripple.
Contributions may be made to ACTS (A Community That Shares) in Bushwood, MD, and/or Seventh District Optimist Club in Bushwood, MD.

I am so very sorry for your loss.It is always hard to lose someone that was such an intricate part of our life such as a parent but know that memories will wrap your heart in love.

Mary’s Acad. with Ellen and worked with her at St Mary’s

All the Hall Children, I was so sorry to hear about Ellen’s passing. She was a wonderful woman and she and Charlie created a wonderful group of children and grandchildren. Stay strong but lean on each other when you can.
To all of you your mom was a wonderful women I remember back in the day at Dynard and all the way to Chopticon seeing her ever now and again may God wrap his lovein arms around you and you have many happy memories to share.
