Anne Marie “Jackie” Jacqueline Barnes, 79 of Leonardtown, MD, formerly of Accident, MD passed away on July 5, 2016 in Leonardtown, MD, born April 11, 1937 in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Armoza Pomerleau Jameson and John R. Jameson, Sr. “Jackie” is survived by her children; Denise M. Skotek of Mechanicsville, MD, Diane E. Beers of Accident, MD, Donald A. Barnes of Annapolis, MD, Darlene A. Hourigan of Radford, VA and David R. Barnes of Denton, MD, sister Theresa DeVaughn of Annapolis, MD, 21 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. “Jackie” was preceded in death by a brother John R. Jameson, Jr. of Olney, MD. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM with prayers recited at 7:00PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 10:00AM in the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Anthony Lickteig officiating. Interment will be private.
