Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. It is a big loss for all of us. We lost an angel who filed our office throughout the years with her smiles and good spirit even
when her illness was too much for anybody to bear. I will remember her every time I hear the name Diane mentioned and pray she lives eternal life in heaven.
My condolences to all her family but mainly for her faithful husband Greg. I pray that the lord with help him and give him the patience and support to deal with his loss.

  2. Mary Anne Cron Harroun says:

Diane Clausen Capalia was my friend. I met Dee when we attended Mercy HS. Our high school was a juncture for many eastern Long Island towns. We became and remained close friends for many years. I have fond memories of Centereach sleepovers and pool parties. Dee dubbed me the nickname Corn; I bore it proudly. I fell in love with Dee’s entire family. Her mom Eileen, and siblings Billy, Chris and Eileen were a joyful part of my youthful patchwork.
Dee was a bridesmaid in my wedding and it was then I met the love of her life Greg. My husband Ned and I met her precious girls. And then, life took us in different directions as we raised our own families.
I have few regrets in my life, but this would be one, that I never got to see the twinkle in her eyes and that beautiful electric smile again.
Dee affected my life for the better and I carry with me, all these years later, the kindness she bestowed.
I wish her beloved husband and her loving family peace. I share in their sorrow. Lovingly, Corn

  3. What a sweet heart Diane was/is. That’s apparent even tho I knew her for just a short time. Diane I miss that we were unable to get our girls day of reminiscing our years, I was looking forward to hearing every detail about the Beatles concerts you attended along with the other great things you did.

Diane, you’ll always be my sweet sweet Queen of Hearts.

My heart goes out to Cap and the entire family, peace be with you.

    Lovingly,
    Shanda

  4. …i only met diane a few times, three times at her home and once at olive garden. i know that we either go to someplace less loving or someplace more loving after we leave our physical bodies behind. i believe diane went to someplace more loving and knowing how much love she had while she was in her physical body i can’t even imagine how much love she must be receiving now. i know she’ll be missed by many especially her loving husband, how blessed she was while here in the body and how blessed she is now! please father in heaven send comfort to her friends and family…
