Aunt Marie was my God-mother. We always had a special relationship. She picked me up at an early age to play softball and to choir practice. She took wonderful care of her Mother and never complained. She was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. She helped in the community whenever she could. She loved everyone and everyone love her. She never lost her sense of humor. About three weeks before she died, I stopped by for a visit. When leaving, I was saying good-by and said, I will make a deal with you, you pray for me and I will pray for you. She paused a moment and said, that means I will have to pray longer. My response, OK, Yes it does. I will miss you, but happy you are in Heaven and no more suffering. Love and hugs,
