He loved farming, hunting, fishing, crabbing, and all the things a St. Mary’s County native truly enjoys. One of his favorite pasttimes was visiting with the boys for coffee on Saturday mornings at the Moose Lodge and discussing the latest NASCAR race, baseball, or football game especially if there was a small wager involved!

Dear Aunt Barbara and all your family – We can’t even express how sorry we are for the loss of Uncle George. We truly know how special he was to Jimbo (and the rest of us). Jimbo didn’t make a move without checking on Uncle George. He used to talk about all the times on the “Farm” and how if he was told to do something – he’d better get doing it or he had both Uncles to answer to! We will miss him terrible but, we know that he is having a grand ‘ol time in Heaven with his many loved ones. We loved him dearly and we are here for you all if you ever have a need. We pray that you all will get through this sad time with great ease! Hugs!
Dear Barbara and all of George’s Family
Our most sincere condolence to all of you on your loss of George. He was a good friend who would help you in a minute. He had a good heart and loved his family. There are many great memories Wayne has of them growing up, some of them pretty darn funny, in fact most of them….. He will always be in our thoughts , prayers and memory. God bless him and give him peace and may God grant all his wonderful family the same. God Bless.
Love Wayne and Joan
To Aunt Sue, Aunt Kit, Aunt Mary Jean, Aunt Betty Jo & Barbara,
I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure he is in heaven now with all the loved ones who have passed especially dad and Jimbo and Sam. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Becky & the kids
So sorry for your loss. George was a very special person and a co-worker that we all respected and admired. He truly cared for all of the people he came in contact with and I am honored to have known both George and Jimbo.
Barbara and all of George’s family – I’m so sorry to hear about George. I always enjoyed seeing him and we always had a nice conversation. I do remember from his younger years that he shared his plumbing skills with my parents on more than a few occasions and was always kind to them. He was a good man – Tism
Barbara and family, I was so sad to hear of George’s passing. He has been a friend of our family for as long as I can remember. I have so many great memories in which he was included. It was so good to see him after so long at Joan and Wayne’s renewing of their vows after 50 years of marriage in 2014. He has no more pain and is in a much better place now so I hope that helps in the sad days ahead. He was a good man and a great friend to our family. May he R.I.P. now. Farewell for now, Dear George, until we meet again.
Aunt Bobby, so sorry for your loss. Uncle George was always a sweet soul who will be greatly missed. I will never forget the many time he took to play a game of chess when I’m sure he had more important things to do. I will cherish the memories of knowing him. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Much Love, Jean (Jeannie)
To all of George’s family and friends, please accept my condolences. George was a very well liked man. He’ll be missed by everyone that had the pleasure to meet him. R.I.P. George
Barbara and Entire Family,
We send our condolences on the loss of a very kind, caring and gentle man! He always greeted you with a smile and friendly manner. He will greatly be missed by not only his family by the entire Hollywood community. May you all find comfort in the fact he is no longer in pain and is with his loved ones which passed before him. I am sure he and all the other family and farmers have lots to talk about!
Sincerely,

Our deepest sympathies to the Spalding family. This man had such as easy smile that was welcoming and warm. It was always a pleasure to see and speak with him. I have and always will refer to him as “Uncle George”. As I’ve heard of Jimbo’s help to his Uncle George in life, I am sure he greeted him to help him into the hereafter!
