Guestbook

  1. Debbie and family: My heartfelt sympathy is offered to your family. Stella was such a fun lady! I loved her songs, smiles, humor, and hair styles that defied her age. Stella loved sharing stories of her past life and family pictures, so proud you all! May God be with you in your sorrow and heal your broken hearts.

  2. Debbie and Family: Stella was a very special lady! I always looked forward to seeing her and talking with her. She was bright, happy and could easily put a smile on your face. She was so good to my Dad and would often stop to talk with him and leave with her signature wink. The bows in her hair were a point of discussion as they always matched her outfits. She will be missed. RIP Stella!

  3. To All of Stella’s Family: How lucky I am to have come to the Villages at Wildewood and be immediately greeted by someone who was God’s angel of happiness on earth. She and my husband were great friends and she just put a smile on my face each time I would run into her. She came over to our unit for Johnny’s seafood delicacies several times and raved about his cooking in her Oh-So-Delightful manner. I thoroughly missed her when it was necessary for health reasons that she have 24/7 care and moved. Johnny passed away in 2014 and I’m sure she was greeted by her “papa-sawn”, as she called him, when she got to heaven. I loved her in friendship and will remember her always.

  4. Sympathy to the family of Mrs. Vones.
She will truly be missed by the staff and residents at St. Mary’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Her smile and charm would always brighten your day.
Cherish the memories of a special lady who’s inner and outward beauty remained with all who met her in life’s journey. Rest In Peace!

  5. I feel so fortunate to have met Stella years ago while working as an activities director for a retirement facility. She breathed new life into everyone. Her stories, songs, teaching us words in Greek, dancing… She was just such a joy to be around. I am certain to have some pictures of her if the family would like to be in touch with me. God Bless.
