Beulah Mae Joy

Beulah Mae Joy “Nenie”, 89, of Hollywood, MD passed away on February 12, 2018 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Born on June 4, 1928 in Hollywood, MD she was the daughter of the late Mattie Helen Gatton Joy and John Cookman Joy. Nenie was preceded in death by her Siblings: Grace Helen (Sally) Johnson of Hollywood, MD and Edith Marie Brown of Peru, ILL. Nenie was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident. She was employed as a secretary for SMECO for 42 years, retiring in 1992. Pallbearers were: Randy Johnson, Jimmy Owens, Donnie Johnson, Jason Johnson, Chad Johnson and D.J. Johnson. Honorary Pallbearers were: Chastity Johnson, April Owens, Tyler Johnson, Kyle Johnson and Jeremy Johnson. Contributions may be made to Hollywood Vol. Rescue Squad P.O. Box 79 Hollywood, MD 20636.
