What a shock to hear of Danny’s death. He was a good friend to so many and we will missed by all who had the honor of being his friend. A very talented musician and a very very proud father, father-in-law and “Papa D”. His legacy will live on through his son, Wes, and grandchildren and to them and the rest of his family we offer our sincere sympathy and prayers. May Danny Rest in Peace.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ryce family for their loss.
Was sad to wake up to the news of his passing. Danny was such a kind hearted soul, and loved life. It is a shame he was called home so soon. I like everyone else loved listening to him sing and play his guitar. He had a very special gift and he shared it with us for many years. I enjoyed his buggy rides and his around the 7th on Facebook. He was a great story teller. To all his family and many friends our thoughts and prayers are with you as we mourn the loss of a special man. RIP Danny Ryce
Danny, may you rest in peace. You put up a good fight and always had a goo attitude. You can play your music in Heaven now, will keep your family in my prayers. Mary Frances Abell
My dear cousin Danny, how missed you already are and will be! One of the most kind hearted and caring men I have ever had the privilege of knowing, thank you for always making me smile, my heart is with Wes, and our family, May you forever rest in heavenly paradise, much love, Crystal and family ❤️
Danny meant so much to so many people. Whether he sang for their wedding or funeral, his voice was so tender and sweet. His facebook posts were always so positive, even when he was feeling bad or if he was sad. He had a way with words that would bring tears to your eyes. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy in his children and grandchildren. Their voices will sing out for years to come for Papa D. I am so thankful that we got close this past year after Steve’s death, he had so many funny stories about the Ramey brothers. I considered him a brother in law. Kim, please let me know if there is anything I can do in the coming weeks, I am here for you.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Danny’s family.
Wes and family,
No words can be said to take your pain away. My heart breaks for you. His voice was from heaven. He will always be remembered here.
To one of the most talented and best friends I have ever had the honor of knowing, I say “farewell”, with a very heavy heart. The pleasure of hearing you sing, or joining you in a song, I will treasure forever. You had the kindest, and most loving heart, not only for your family, but for just about everyone you knew. Rest now, in The Lord’s loving arms, free from pain forever. Judy and I will keep you in our prayers, and remember you, always.
Danny, it’s so hard to believe your on the other side now. We enjoyed all your wonderful stories and especially your ability to remember every detail! It was amazing! Your blood family will miss you so terribly, it will be a hard void to fill! You non blood family will miss you just as much! You always tried to include everyone within your circle, and let them know how special they are to you as well! Brother, rest easy, enjoy singing with your heavenly family now, and one day we all will be singing along. We will always love and miss you!
Our thoughts are prayers are with the family. We are sincerely sorry for your loss. Danny was always smiling, no matter what the circumstance. He was very giving and always had an encouraging word for others.
Wes and family. So sorry to hear about your Dad passing away. He was a good man and a good friend, and a heck of a musician. Enjoyed playing music with him over the years and watching all his videos. He will be dearly missed. To my friend Danny, you are now in rock-n-roll Heaven and I know they now have a “hellava band” to quote the Righteous Brothers. Rest in peace with our Lord brother and I’ll be up there playing with you one day.
We so enjoyed knowing Danny he was very talented and lifted our spirits. Our Deepest Sympathy to his family.

I am still in shock. I am so glad we talked on Tuesday, I just wish I had called back on Thursday. I will miss you and out talks more than I can ever express. I feel good knowing that you no longer have to suffer with all of the challenges you went through. Selfishly, I hoped to have you with us for several more years. I know you are happy in heaven with your all of your love ones with you. I have so many good memories. Like when I used to lock you in my room and make you listen to my Beatle records. It is hard to say what I want to say but you know I love you, that is how we always ended our calls. You are my sweet nephew, an amazing father and grandfather. And will be missed terribly by everyone you touched. Love forever and always Darlene
