Mary Louise Berry

Mary Louise Berry, “Shangle”, 74, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on February 23, 2019 in Washington, DC. She was the daughter of the Annie Mae Berry and the late Benjamin Norris Berry. Mary is survived by her daughter Annie Theresa Berry of Leonardtown, MD, 4 grandchildren as well as siblings; Henrietta Berry Stewart, Carrie Berry, Junior Berry, Barbara Berry Bulter, and George Stewart. Mary was preceded in death by her brother James R. Berry. Mary was a lifelong St. Mary’s County MD resident and graduated from Benjamin Banneker High School. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in St. Aloysius Catholic Church Leonardtown, MD, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM with Father Rob Maro officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Pallbearers will be; Louis Berry, Maurice Stewart, James Berry (Leroy), James Berry, Reggie Berry and Joseph Hebb. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Shaquille Stewart, Montana Knight, Derrick Daye, Lavonte Berry, Louis Berry, Jr., Isiah Stewart and Dominique.
