March 11, 1944 ~ September 28, 2019

Ken was born in St. Mary’s Hospital on March 11, 1944, to Raymond Spencer Wible and Margaret Virginia Magill Wible. He was the youngest of three children, Veronica, Ellen (Deceased), and then Ken After graduation from the original Leonardtown High School, he chose to enlist in the United Sates Air Force, He served his country for over 21 years. While home on leave in 1966, he and his Dad drove to the local bowling alley to roll a few games. While there, Ken met his future wife, Linda Marie Aud. They were married on December 2, 1967. From this wonderful union two beautiful children were born, Brian Kenneth and Tammy Lynne (TL). Upon military retirement, the family returned to the County to try to make the lives of our Senior Family Members easier. Ken lived to help older citizens with their yard needs. He was an avid bowler, carried a decent average, and respected every member of every team he was on. In his later years, he and his golfing buds chased that little white ball around never missing the chance to “explore” the entire golf course. Just one other little note, he was the first leftie to roll a perfect 300 game at Esperanza. Sadly, Ken passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019. He is survived by his loving family; wife Linda, son Brian, Daughter TL(Gus), granddaughter Madeline Elisabeth, sister Veronica (Fran),sister-in-law Debbie, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. All Funeral Services will be private. A Mass of Remembrance will be scheduled at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Second District Fire and Rescue P.O. 5. So sorry to hear of Ken’s passing! He was such a nice man. I loved running into him at the bowling alley. He always spoke to me to check how I was bowling, and subbed on my team many times over the years. He will be missed greatly! RIP Ken!

  6. Bill and Diane Dixon says:

    Dear Linda and family,
Kenny was our friend through bowling, but especially when attending the local church and fire department dinners over the years. He will be missed so very much, but know that there will always be a special place for you at our table to continue the tradition. May you all find comfort in your beautiful memories. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers! Kenny, you have earned your wings.

  7. Ken and I were best buddies thru 8th grade at St John’s. At age 12, Kenny had signed up for Little League baseball. I was late and the team was full. His dad then told Kenny he had to work on the farm that summer and could not play ball. Kenny was a great ballplayer. We met some point between our homes on our bikes and he gave me his uniform. Not the greatest look on his face.
There also was the time I planted a BB from about 40′ just below his eye while we were playing in the woods. He had a BB gun as well. Don’t remember any repercussions from that so I guess he never told what happened.
We both served in the military, seemed like a popular thing to do in the 60’s.
    God bless us all.

  8. Linda & Family,
We are so sorry to hear of Kenny’ s passing! Tommy and I thought very highly of the family, and send our sincere condolences. May your many wonderful memories help ease your sorrows. We send our thoughts and prayers to you, as he has earned his wings! If we can help in anyway, please remember we are only a phone call away!
    Sincerely, Tommy and Rose

  9. Ken will be greatly missed.
Especially when I get a Brooklyn Strike and he wants his quarter. I did tell him I was from Brooklyn so those strikes shouldn’t cost me anything.
My families prayers are with you all!
