To all of Sissy’s Family: We are so saddened at Sissy’s passing. When she got her driver’s license she would drive us to Hill’s store and buy us ice cream. We were so proud to sit in the front seat of Uncle George’s brand new car as she drive us. She used to polish our finger nails and brush our hair. We are so sorry she had to go through so much in the past several years with her illness. Raymond, you were such a blessing and so good to your mother. We admire you for the loving care you took of her. We know she is at rest and at peace in God’s hands now. Ruth Joy Coombs/Betty Joy Thomas
So very sorry to read of Sissy’s passing. She has suffered over the years with such courage and hope. I was blessed to visit with her at the hospital on several occasions taking communion. Her conversation and memory of days gone by were amazing as was the love of her devoted son, Raymond. He stood by her side never wavering. May God be with you and those who loved her in this time of sorrow.
Edna was a classmate and true friend. I still remember her giggling at all things funny. I visited her in the hospital last year and met her son, so glad I did. My condolences to all.
