Deepest condolences to the Woodburn family. Phil was truly an inspiration to us all and he will be missed. With prayers through this time, David & Rebekah
Phil was our family, too. In fact, he said he was the third boy in the Thompson family balancing out with the girls. He was a brother in heart; we loved dearly. His kindness, humor, and friendship will never be forgotten. May God hold him close to His Sacred Heart.
I am so sorry to hear that Phil passed away.. He’s now w/Aunt Elsie, Uncle Abell, Lucy,, Rose Marie & the rest of the family.. May the Lord wrap his arms around U all at this time.. Rest in Peace Phil..
Family, Sorry for your loss of Phil. Enjoyed the days back when Phil was bat boy for Bennett’s women’s softball team and the fun after the games and being on the same team at Take It Easy Ranch playing shuffleboard together. Phil knew how to have a good time and be a friend to all! RIP Phil!
Teeny and the Woodburn Family. We are so sad to hear of Phil’s passing. He was a good friend and I remember him umpiring softball games I played in. He always stuck to his guns when he made a call you disagreed with. I sometimes gave him Holy Communion when I would bring it to my Aunt when she was in their, along with others. I know he loved the Lord and is in the arms of Jesus now. Rest in peace old friend.
My most heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to Tiny and all of Phil’s family. I knew Phil when we both worked at Patuxent River. He was a fine individual. He always had a good attitude and a great personality. It was a pleasure to be in his presence.

Very sad to hear of Phil’s passing. He was a good friend to my father during his time at the nursing center. Prayers to his family and many friends.
