Kitten,
Needless to say, when I saw the Elks’ posting Sunday night announcing Howard’s death I almost felt like I had been hit by a bolt of lightning. I had been thinking about the two of you often recently and told myself that I should give you a call. The world has lost a good man and he will be greatly missed by many of us. He was a dear friend and I know we will miss him.
Our love and good wishes,
Sue and Mike
Kitten,
When reading of Howard’s passing, my thoughts turned to the many good times shared at so many wonderful Elks’ functions thru the years – made possible because of all you and Howard did for the Elks. My thought and prayers are with you…Howard was such a nice person.

Kitten,
I am very sorry to hear of Howard’s death. I have so many memories of you all with my mom and dad at the Elks, vacations, catering, being at your house in the game room, this list goes on. The first couple of times I was around him, I was afraid of him. I thought he was mean. But, that didn’t last long. He wanted the kids at the Elks to think he was mean but, we all knew better. Fred and I are thinking of you and sending our condolences. You have a life time of memories with Howard so, count on them to pull you through the tough times. Hugs – Cindy Parker
To Kitten and all the family, you are in my prayers. So sorry I was unable to attend the service. Howard and you were a great team. He will be missed by all who knew him. I have fond memories of the Springer and Saunders gatherings, lots of fun times.
Hugs, Mary Ann
Kitten: So sorry to read of Howard’s passing. He was a genuine gentleman. I remember years ago the affairs at the Elks and the fun everyone shared. My prayers are with you.

Kitten,
Greg and I are very sorry to hear of Howard’s passing. We have MANY Great memories of us staying up until the wee hours of the morning playing pitch and having many laughs. We still use Howard’s recipe for crab cakes/balls to this day. He will be sorely missed. May God Bless you and keep you in his care until the two of you meet again.
Dear Kitten. . It is with heavy heart that we send you this condolence. Had we known that Howard had passed away, we would have been there at the funeral home and for the funeral service on Sept. 28th, but being unaware until we saw the obituary in the County Times yesterday has left the both of us devastated.
Everyone who knew Howard knows without a doubt that he was one of the nicest and kindest people who ever lived. Not only his work for the Elks through the years, but his devotion to St. Georges Catholic Church where you could find him and his devoted wife Kitten helping with everything from dinners to church services.
We will always cherish your wonderful friendship Howard. Thank you for being one of the best friends we could ask for. The good Lord above has saved your place in Heaven and welcomes you with open arms. Rest in Peace dear friend.
