Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Worked with Capt. Jim when he worked for the County. He was a good man. He was very proud of his Marine service. God bless him.

  2. I knew Capt. Weber when he was chief permit inspector and he was always helpful and very polite. I remember him skateboarding around the parking lot of the Governmental Center. i always enjoyed his “sea stories” and know he will be missed by all that knew him. Fair winds and following seas, Captain Weber, and we will see you again guarding the streets of Heaven. Semper fi! We will miss you.

  3. Capt. Weber thank you for your service and for your efforts on behalf of veterans. Rest in peace and well done.

  4. One of my favorite people. “Once a marine, always a marine”
Always had a smile on his face and uplifting words. He was there to help anyone who needed it. I still have the challenge coin he gave me. Godspeed, Cap! I think I have a pic of me on my 30th birthday cutting my cake with your sword!

  5. Cap. Jim has been a family friend since as long as I can remember. He went skydiving with my grandpa and a few of their friends. He used to come down to my grandpa’s place, Brigadoon, and hang out there. Every time I saw this man, he’s always been so nice and sweet. He taught my siblings and I many great lessons. Every 4th of July we’d go to his house, dressed in cheesy Camys, and set of fireworks! When times were rough on my mom, Cap. Jim got us gifts so we’d have a special Christmas. He sold my mom his old Jeep for dirt cheap so she could have a car. He’s just done a whole lot for my family. He was an extremely good man. All my nieces and nephew know his name because all of us still talk about him. Legacies aren’t born, they’re made, and his will live on for generations for him being the man he was.
