  1. I am devastated at this news. Sherry and I would talk daily. We would talk for hours on end. She was my rock in advice with so many things and a wonderful supporter of my rescue. When I would call and say good morning how are you today, her reply was always I am ok Pat. Now, her spirit is telling me the same thing, “I am ok Pat” I miss her terribly. She was a caring person about her husband and in his well being, her son, and her sister Debi. She saved so many animals in working transports to get them to safety and I know her friend Kristi is at a total loss without her help Sherry would get up at 5 or 6 am to do run sheets for these animals, dogs and cats. She saved them all and even had a chimp she saved and sponsored. My heart goes out to all her surviving family and friends. Sherry, I love you and miss you beyond words. Please play with all mine that are at the bridge if you see them. God Speed girlfriend. xoxo

  2. I am so saddened and shocked to learn of my dear friend’s passing. What a huge loss to all who knew her, either through social media or in person. You will be missed. See you up in Heaven one day, my friend.

  3. I knew Sherry through her volunteer work with helping NC transports. She mentored me through the monitor phase and always reminded me to patience, kind but stern in the process. She was always over my shoulder to offer advice and encouragement. She made a tremendous impact in all that she did for animals. Heaven gained a special person. Prayers for her family and friends.

  4. Dear Bob, Chris, and family
I am thinking of you today during Sherry’s visitation and service. I am so sorry I couldn’t make it. Cousin Sherry was a wonderful person…a light in the world helping family, friends, and her beloved animals. I want to make a small donation in her memory to Kristi’s Neverending Transport for rescues. I know she worked with this rescue to help organize transports and change the life of many forgotten pets.
I am thankful for all the advice on pets, kids, and overcoming hard times she gave me. It meant the world to me that she was there by phone to support me when my parents were sick or passing away. My children and I are so thankful for all the cards and generous gifts she gave us.
Sherry is watching from above, knowing how loved she was. Her light lives on and she is never truly far.
Take good care of her beloved fur babies. They must miss their mom so much.
May God bless all of you and grant you peace.
    Take care
