Freeman Len Amos

Freeman Len Amos, “Len”, 76, of Lexington Park, MD, passed away on October 2, 2024, in Lexington Park, MD. Born on August 7, 1948, in Stark County, OH, he was the son of the late Sarah Ellen Patterson and the late Elisworth Len Amos. Len was the loving husband of the late Kathleen Anne Amos, whom he married on December 25, 1978, in First Presbyterian Church of St. Mary’s County, California, MD, and who preceded him in death on December 3, 2022. He is survived by his stepchildren, Ramona Weasenforth of Ridge, MD and William Weasenforth of Lexington Park, MD, his brother, Mark Amos, of Corpus Christi, TX, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Len was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident. He served in the United States Navy for 19 years, from 1966 to 1985, as an Aviation Electrician Chief. Most recently, Len was a Logistic Technician for Eagan McAllister Associates for 16 years, retiring in 2001. All services will be private.
