Christine Marie Siewert
February 15, 1963 ~ December 5, 2024
Christine Marie Siewert, known to some as Chris and others as Chrissy, passed away on December 5, 2024, in Leonardtown, MD surrounded with immense love by her children and grandchildren.
Christine is survived by her five children: Jonathon R., Lexington Park, MD; Melissa L. and wife Katelyn, Norfolk, VA; Zachery M., Lexington Park, MD; Jessica S. Hopkins and husband Zachary, San Diego, CA; Matthew C. and husband Calvin, Virginia Beach, VA. Her parents: Stewart and Melda Lee, Kingston, MA; brothers: Stewart Lee, Kingston, MA and Michael Lee, Kingston, MA; and sister: Michelle Ratican, Dorchester, MA. Her legacy lives on through her two grandchildren that she adored and loved with all of her heart-Lucius and Daniella.
She was preceded in death by her Nana, Melda Costello; her daughter, Sarah Siewert; her mother-in-law, KeeSoon (Kim) Siewert; and her nephew, Brian D. Magee.
Christine was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on February 15, 1963. She graduated from Rockland High School in 1981 and attended UMass Dartmouth. Though Chrissy has worked a variety of jobs-her most prominent as a CPA, her one true calling was being a mom. She met the father of her children, John Siewert, and moved to Hampton, VA to start a family in 1983.
She is love. She had a knack for making you feel like you were the most special person in the world when you would talk to her. Whether you had a bad day or some good news to celebrate, her warmth was the one that you sought to share those moments with.
She enjoyed art in all of its forms and was a very spiritual person. She was full of energy and life with a contagious smile and an iconic laugh. Chrissy was always so playful and goofy, bringing out that silliness in those around her. She believed that there was goodness in people, and it was her purpose to bring that out in them.
Her humor, positivity and love imprints on everyone that knew her. She was an extraordinary and caring woman who lived her life to the fullest and made sure her loved ones promised to do the same.
She will be remembered as being unapologetically herself, truly, a beautiful soul whose love found no bounds.
