Annette Josephine Sardelli

Annette Josephine Sardelli, 85, of Chaptico, MD, formerly of Greenbelt, MD, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Bowie, MD. Born on December 5, 1939, in Providence, RI, she was the loving daughter of the late Anna Mento and the late Joseph Mento. Annette is survived by her children, David Sardelli (Kathy) of North Dakota and Susan Quade (Kenny) of Chaptico, MD, her brother, Jack Mento (Eileen) of Warwick, RI, four grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Annette graduated from Mount Pleasant High School, Providence, RI, in 1957. She was a payroll specialist for the University of Maryland, College Park Campus for 60 years, retiring in 2022. While employed there, she would stop at Dunkin Donuts every morning for coffee and meet her many friends. Annette enjoyed ice skating, dancing, playing mahjong, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Annette’s Celebration of Life will be held at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, Chaptico, MD. Date to be determined. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Devin Sardelli, Dain Sardelli, Anthony Hall, and Philip Hall. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
