Beverly Alden "Bev" LaBarge

Beverly Alden LaBarge, “Bev”, 84, of Colfax, NC, formerly of St. Mary’s County, MD, passed away on August 5, 2025, in Kernersville, NC. Born on July 27, 1941, in Middletown, CT, she was the daughter of the late Marion D. Alden and the late Lester E. Alden. Beverly was the loving wife of the late Thomas Clifford LaBarge, whom she married on February 4, 1967. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and is survived by her children, Dorene Lindsay of Colfax, NC and Lester LaBarge of California, MD, her sister, Patricia A. Dunham, of St. Petersburg, FL, six grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Beverly was a resident of St. Mary’s County, MD from 1980 to 2014. During this time, she worked as a banker at First National Bank of St. Mary’s for over 20 years. Beverly was the president and the district president of VFW #2632 Auxiliary and was also a member of the VFW Cooties Pup Tent #6. A graveside service at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA, will be announced at a later date. Condolences may be made to the family at www.mgfh.com.
