Laurie graduated from Chopticon High School and went on to dedicate more than 30 years of service to Leonardtown High School, where she worked as the Registrar. She retired in 2019, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and service to the school community. In addition to her career in education, Laurie and her beloved husband, George, were the owners of Potomac Gardens General Store and Bar in Coltons Point for more than 38 years. 1. I’m sorry to hear of Laurie’s passing but she has gone to a better place. She will be remembered by those of us who knew her. I really enjoyed visiting with her at the “Garden” and her great goose diners.
    Prayers for all of you.
