Condolence: Betty Ann and family, so sorry to hear of “Bubby’s” passing. Our thoughts are with you. Bubby was such a friendly, funny, lovable man! He could always make us laugh with any story he told. Fun and happiness came so easily to him, and seemed to radiate to those around him! He will be missed.

Condolence: Dale, Bailey, Maddie, Carson, Emma and Mom Mom,
We just heard and are so sorry for your loss. I remember him being there for all those Kindergarten programs through the years. Then there was the time Bailey and Tom decided to take the canoe from our house over to theirs only to find that they weren't home! Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prays. Love and Blessings the Swain's

Condolence: Betty Ann, Bobby, Wanda, Dale and family. We just saw this notice about Bubby. He was such a dear friend of ours. He was always a delight to be around and would always fill us with plenty of laughs. They didn't come any better than him. Many years ago when I first started working on the base, is when I first met Bubby as he was talking to my brother Joe, whom I think they were bowling together on a bowling league. Joe was also with him the first year of the Cuties. Still have a picture of Joe in my mother's dress, ballcap and a wig. Between the two of them together, they seemed to compete for telling the tallest tales of their escapades. Always so entertaining. Last time I saw Bubby was around Christmas 2 or 3 years ago when my brother Jimmy was in Chesapeake Shores with him. I came to visit with my guitar, Jimmy got on the piano, and we entertained the residents there. Bubby and I talked for what seemed like hours and how he really enjoyed listening to us. I even played Pink Cadillac for him. He will be sorely missed but just think, he is with our Lord Jesus this Christmas. You will all be in our prayers.

Condolence: Betty Ann and family - What a great guy; this is the sentiment that comes to mind when we remember Bubby. He was so happy and so willing to help others as his obituary reads. Bubby left beautiful memories for us to share with one another. He and Betty Ann were the cutest and most devoted couple. May God bring you peace in his passing and heal your broken hearts.
