lightenning in the kitchen

I was fortunate to work with Anne. We shared an immediate familiarity and connection as we were both

from large Catholic families. We both went to Catholic school so hearing a click , we would drop to

a knee before entering the pew!

. We both had the basic understanding of the rules. Still, she was just so funny. Her dry wit! Loved it.

She was caring, giving and understanding at all times. Never judgemental.. My "story" isn't exceptional.

We were talking about weather and she recounted an experiece. While in the kitchen with one of the kids,

lightening came through the window into a puddle on the floor.Just a "wow" moment. Now I am liucky that

I remember her whenever it storms! I always hope that I'll see something as crazy and wonderful. So that

story is from 20 years ago. I hope that I have it right! So if Walt and the kids look at each other and

think, "I don't remember that," just know she's thought of a lot by an old friend.
