Vicki Jo Cobbs, a loving mother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and warmth. Born on April 4, 1951, in Seargent, Nebraska, to Keith and Eunice Chamley, Vicki embraced life with a spirit of love and compassion. A devoted homemaker for most of her life, she also treasured her time at the Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship, where she enjoyed her work and formed lasting relationships. Vicki found great joy in cooking and caring for her family, always striving to create a warm and welcoming home. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chuck Cobbs, her youngest son, Timothy Cobbs, and niece, Whitney Rose Gravetter. Vicki is survived by her oldest son, Tommy Cobbs; her sisters, Candance Gravetter, and Jane (Jerry) Chandler, also of Kansas City, MO; her brother, Steve (Terressa) Chamley of Council Bluffs, IA; and her cherished nieces, Claire Staub of Omaha, NE, and Ellen Tjaden of Council Bluffs, IA. Vicki was preceded in death by: Keith Chanley, Eunice Theilmann In recognition of Vicki's life and to honor the love she shared, prayers and services will be held at Mattingly Gardiner Funeral Home on January 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Following the service, Vicki will be laid to rest at St. George's Catholic Church in Valley Lee, MD. Her memory will be forever cherished by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
