Alicia Tyrene Bonds

Alicia Tyrene Bonds was born on November 14, 1969, in Leonardtown, MD, the youngest child of Joseph David and Alice Rebecca Bonds. She grew up in Valley Lee, MD and was a 1989 graduate of Leonardtown High School in Leonardtown, MD. Alicia obtained her associate degree from the College of Southern Maryland in La Plata, MD.
Through the years, Alicia was employed by McDonalds, and as a custodian for the Eagle Building. She also worked at Head-Start as a teacher and at Little People Child Care in Great Mills, MD until her health prevented her from continuing.
Alicia was blessed with one daughter, Tynichia Aryian Scriber, who was her whole world. She liked cooking, playing cards, and watching TV. Her favorite shows were CSI, Criminal Minds, Law & Order, and anything produced by Tyler Perry. She also loved watching the Lifetime Network. She enjoyed singing, playing computer games, talking on the phone, and scrolling on Facebook to see what her family was up to. She loved children and enjoyed taking care of them. More than anything, Alicia loved spending time with her family, including the family pups, Charlie and Tucker.
In His compassion, God called Alicia into her eternal rest on Thursday, December 12, 2024. Alicia leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Tynichia “Ty-Ariyan” Scriber (& Shantel McGregor) of Houston, TX; one brother, Kevin Wayne (& Charmissa) Biscoe of Stephens City, VA; two sisters, Novella Marvette (& Mark) Anderson of Clinton, MD and Regina Bonds (& Bernard Banks) of Hollywood, MD; nieces and nephews, Robert Thomas, Tasha (& Billy) Virts, Tyrell (& December) Biscoe, Nia Anderson, Ayesha Anderson, Idris Anderson, Bernard “Alb” Banks, Thaddeus Banks, Antonio Banks, Javonte (& Jamie) Bonds, Shante Bonds, and Delante “DB” Bonds; 13 grand-nieces and nephews, three special kids she loved like grandchildren, Kamryn & Kayvionna Kelsey, and Sa’Marion McGregor; four God-children, Izayah Brown, Aniya & Aaron Maddox, and DaVonte Morgan, aunts, Rev. Phyllis Biscoe, Dinah Bonds, Angela Bonds, Shirley Bonds & Gloria King; Uncles, George “Gary” (& Rose) Biscoe, Junior Xavier Bonds, George Bonds, & James Bonds, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Joseph & Alice Bonds, Alicia was preceded in death by her brother, David Bonds, her paternal grandparents, Richley & Mary Margaret “Pearl” Bonds, and her Maternal Grandparents, George & Genevieve Biscoe.
Funeral Services will take place on Friday, December 20, 2024 at St. Mark UAME Church in Valley Lee, MD. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at 11am and the service will begin at 12noon.
