Ann Marie "Bebe" Woodburn 77 of Leonardtown, MD passed away on February 12, 2016. Born on October 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Lillian Agnes Ford and Henry Aloysius Smith. Bebe is survived by her husband Tommy Woodburn, Sr, whom she married on April 11, 1955, children: Tommy Woodburn (Natalie) of Leonardtown, MD, Gennie Marshall (Johnny) of Hollywood, MD, Laura Superior (Dennis) of Leonardtown, MD, Bernie Woodburn (Sharon) of Leonardtown, MD, Peggy Cianflone (Mark) of Hollywood, MD, 10 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren and her sister Betsy Carter of Leonardtown, MD. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Jimmy Smith, Bucky Smith, Sissie Raley, Dickie Hayden, Sally Humenik, Tom Hayden, Teresa Hayden, Polly Smith and Ford Hayden. Bebe was a lifelong St. Mary's County resident and a graduate of St. Mary's Academy. She was a homemaker and her favorite things were being a wife, sister, mother and grandmother. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 5:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home with Prayers recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Holy Face Catholic Church Great Mills, MD. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Jason Deaderick, Joshua Deaderick, Casey Woodburn, Mark Starnes, Corey Woodburn and Mark Cianflone. Honorary Pallbearers will be will be her granddaughters: T.J. Redmond, Taylor Superior, Sarah Woodburn and Kara Cianflone.

    I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Greg and I found out late last night. knowing your mom will now be your guardian angel and looking out for you and your family should be comforting. She is in such a better place than we are and she is not suffering any more. My dad will be gone 9 years tomorrow and knowing he is at peace and not suffering makes it a little easier. I’m sending you and your family big hugs, Remember all the memories you can share with each other and hold them tight. Rest In Peace Mrs. Woodburn and hopefully you are dancing with the Angels.

    I’m sure sorry to hear about your loss. I remember her as always being in a pleasant mood and talking kind to everyone. I can understand how you all must feel right now,…I lost my Dad 2 years ago during the same week. There’s nothing easy about it, that’s for sure.. you just have to move on the best you can. You all most certainly have my deepest sympathy.
