“Eddie & Gilbert–A person would really have to look hard to find a mother who loved her sons as much as your mother did. Her maternal pride was so obvious…her eyes would sparkle & she smiled whenever she spoke of her sons…which was often. It is very painful to lose a parent, no matter what the circumstances were….it doesn’t make you love them any less or make it easier to get through. My deepest condolences go out to both of you, your wives and your children. The world would be such a nicer place if there were more people like your mom. Mrs. Murphy was a charming lady who never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by many. Take comfort in knowing that as time passes, the sadness you are feeling now will ease and thoughts and good memories of your beautiful mother will bring you happiness once again. Take Care.”
“We would like to extend a special Thank You to all those who have comforted us in many ways. Your thoughts, prayers and support have meant so much to all of us. Our family has suffered two very difficult loses over the last two months. We have been so comforted by the cards, visits, flowers, food and attendance at the prayers and funerals. We feel so very blessed each day to have such wonderful friends and to be part of such a special community.”
