A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD with Father Brian Sanderfoot officiating. Interment will be private.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD.
Armand John Ferraro “Chef AJ”, 43 of California, MD formerly of Endicott, NY died Friday, February 24, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Born June 18, 1968 in Endicott, NY he was the son of Mary Ann and Armand Joseph Ferraro. Armand is survived by his sons Michael and Alex Ferraro of California, MD; brother Anthony Ferraro of California, MD; grandmother Lucie Ferraro of Forest City, PA; and best friend and companion Krysten Odit of California, MD. He is also survived by his loving Aunts, Uncles, and a host of loving cousins. Armand attended Union Endicott High School graduating in 1986, and the Culinary Institute of America, Poughkeepsie, NY graduating in 1988. He moved to St. Mary’s County in 1989 from Upstate, NY. Armand was Executive Chef at St. Mary’s College for 6 years prior to opening his own Restaurant where he was Executive Chef/Co-Owner of “LaTabella Ristorante Italiano”. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, playing video games, playing pool, fishing, spending time with family and cooking for friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM with a Memorial Service held at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A., Leonardtown, MD with Father Brian Sanderfoot officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made the Armand John Ferraro Memorial Trust Fund C/O Navy Federal Credit Union.
