Kitty, Larry Jr., Lynne,Lisa, Laine, Lacy, & Lexy,
My prayers are with you. I’ve always appreciated the kindness Larry showed to my parents. I admired Larry’s devotion to family and his willingness to act on his strong beliefs. Times at Recompense Farm in Clements with Larry were always special.
My prayers are with you. May God fill you with His peace.
Dear Aunt Kitty, Larry Jr., Lynne, Lisa, Laine, Lacy, & Lexy,
I’ll always remember how much fun I had dancing up a storm with Uncle Larry at Courtney and Matt’s wedding. While we’ve always lived so far away, I felt loved and welcomed every time I’ve made the trip east. My memories are vague from my early childhood trips to Port Tobacco, but I can recall Uncle Larry’s firm hug and gentle smile.
I’m thinking of you all with love.
Love, Claire
My dearest Lynne, and family, I am terribly sorry to hear of your loss, and my prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. While I did not know your Dad, reading his obituary it is obvious what a wonderful man he was and a kind soul. Hold onto that knowledge and look toward the heavens with joyful sorrow. Blessings, Danette
Kitty and children, I am so sorry to see that your loved one has left you. I only remember Larry as “Big Larry” when you came down to the farm. I have often thought of the gatherings you would attend at the brick house with Julia and Cap Hungerford. I’m sure you will miss him terribly. My heart goes out to you and my prayers to Larry, may he rest in peace.
Kitty and family, Mike and I want to extend to you our sincere sympathy. Thank you Barbara for letting me know about this. He past on my birthday so I will always remember his date of death. I have always heard the day you die is your birthday into heaven, so I guess we now share a birth date! Be assured of our love and prayers. He was a great man who did great things during his lifetime! May God reward him now for his many good deeds and may you all be blessed and find comfort and strength with help from our beautiful blessed Mother, Mary.
Thinking of all of you, and sending my love.
Kristen
Aunt Kitty and all my cousins, I am so sorry to hear the passing of Uncle Larry. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Thinking of each and every one of you.
Love to all,
Cathy
Mrs Kitty Jenkins and family; So sorry for your loss, Laurie and I wanted to express our condolences. We met many times during Larry’s tenure at Monumental Life. Larry was so much more of a dear friend than CEO to all Monumental employees. You and Larry welcomed us to your home on a number of occasions. We pray for you and the entire Jenkins family during this difficult time.
Kitty and family,
Jan and I were so sad to hear of Larry’s passing. He was such a big presence at Monumental Life during the years I worked there that I thought he would live forever! I have so many happy memories of you both…at sales conferences, a bare knuckles turbulent ride on the AEGON jet during the Washington National acquisition, the trip to Italy in 1997, making potato salad in your kitchen for a Managers Meeting, him telling me about how baseball (his sport!) was really the toughest because of the eye/hand coordination it required… even one night, knowing I would probably be working late, when he came into my cubicle and asked to borrow a tie from our Logo Store stock! I will never forget him and will always appreciate the career opportunities I had working under him.
We will remember you all in our prayers and hope that you and the family will always remember him with a smile…as I still do.
God bless you all,
Rosemary Riesett Limmen

Mom and I were just talking about our times together. When I looked up I found this news. We were both sorrowed to see this news about Larry. Kitty and family we are very sorry about the pain of loss you must still be feeling. May God’s grace and mercy comfort and sustain you all and bring to memory all the good times. I always looked up to Larry and remember him fondly. Mom (Willie) also sends her condolences.
