Barbara Ann Jones Curtis, 76, of Lothian, MD passed away in Washington, DC on February 17, 2018. Born on January 23, 1942 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Venita Elaine Talbert Jones and Alton Harris Jones. Barbara is survived by her fiancée James O. Dyson of Lothian, MD. Barbara is survived by her children: Leo Curtis of Waldorf, MD, Taffie Lutz of Deale, MD, Michael W. Curtis of La Plata, MD, Jeffrey Curtis of Lothian, MD, Angelia Johnson of Great Mills, MD 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Siblings; Buck Jones, Ricky Jones, and Jay Jones. She was preceded in death by her brother Jerry Jones.
Barbara loved her dogs, drawing, painting and cooking.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD where a Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM with Deacon Joe Lloyd officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Face Catholic Cemetery Great Mills, MD. Pallbearers will be; Michael Curtis, Leo Curtis, Jeff Curtis, Rick Lutz, Joey Lutz, and Jonathon Curtis
