Barbara was a long time friend and key member of our local Corvair club — Group Corvair. She was a real “take charge” person who stepped up and made things happen. She was key to the success of the club’s national convention in 1991 as well as many other club events including a long-term fund raising effort for Children’s Hospital and the club’s outing on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad as pictured here. At the time of her passing Barbara was the club’s vice president.
A dear friend and car enthusiast. We had grown so close over the years, even naming my 1960 Corvair 700 “Barbara” in her honor. We shared a love of country music and Barb and Gus supported Jeffrey and I and she and Gus became family to us. Such a great loss, we will miss her terribly. Much love always, Jim & Jeffrey
