“Bootsie & family: So very sorry to learn of the death of Bernardine (Bernie Marie). It is quite a shock. She was quite the home maker and her family meant everything to her. As you know I worked with her mother for quite a few years @ the Trail Magistrate’s Court system and the District Court of Maryland. Remember you will always have your memories to help ease the pain. We no longer live in St. Mary’s County, we now live in Florida, therefore we will be unable to attend any of the services for her but you will all be in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless the Boyd and Johnson families. Love Doris & Skip Jones”
“Dear Bootsie & Family, May God Bless You in your time of sorrow I know what you are going through now to lose the love of your life. Just remember that Death leaves a broken heart but memories will last a life time. May She Rest in Peace now in the arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ.”
“It has been a while since I saw Bernardine, but I will always remember how she and the family treated me when I was a young teenager. They took me everywhere they went and made me feel like one of the family. I remember the first time they took me to OLW youth club dance at the church hall when Freddy provided the music with 45 records and a large speaker. At 13 I had two left feet, but since Bernardine had taken formal dance lessons, she taught me all of the dances she learned. Later on she met and fell in love with you, and bless you, you still had to put up with me the “adopted little sister”. I will always remember those good times with all of you. God bless and keep you until you meet again.”
“May the love & support of friends & family help to lift your spirits at this time of loss. She is free of her earthly pains now. I hope that soon the pain you feel in your heart now will be replaced with the glowing warmth of fond memories of the life you shared.”
