Services: A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel Leonardtown, MD with Deacon Ammon Ripple officiating. Interment will follow in Charles Memorial Gardens Leonardtown, MD. Visitation: The family will receive friends on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. Betty Lee Largent, 71 of Mechanicsville, MD formerly of Charlotte Hall, MD passed away on June 12, 2014 at her residence. Born December 25, 1942 in Charlotte Hall, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ada Gray Williams and Roger Williams. Betty was the loving wife of the late Ronel Largent whom she married in Leonardtown, MD on August 27, 1965 and preceded her in death on September 17, 1985. She is survived by her son Jaycee (Debbie) Largent of Mechanicsville, MD, three grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two sons; Billy Williams and Ronald Largent. Her siblings are, Constance, Douglas, Dickie, Bernice, Sue, James, Jr., Gene, Agnes, Buckey, Sis, Buster, Anna Mae, Hilda, Steve, Linda, Leonard, Ann and Sonny. Betty was a lifelong resident of St. Mary’s County, she was a homemaker, she enjoyed playing Keno, going to bingo, word search puzzles and spending time with her family.
