Britany Ann Hayden, 37, of Ridge, MD passed away on Monday, November 21, 2016. Born on May 4, 1979, in Leonardtown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Michael A. Hayden and Pamela J. Hayden. She graduated from Leonardtown High School in 1997. Britany was passionate about cooking and worked in several restaurants in St. Mary’s County, MD throughout the years. She was also a Redskins fan and loved watching their games whether they won or lost. Britany is survived by her daughter Adelle Hayden, her sister, Nicole Mattingly (Justin) of St. Inigoes, MD, her mother, Pamela Hayden (Peter) of Lexington Park, MD, and her paternal grandmother, Mary Lou Hayden of Hollywood, MD. She is also survived by her two Uncles; Charlie Hayden of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Bob Hayden of Baldwin, MD, cousins: Erin Hayden Riester, Lauren Hayden, Bobby Hayden, and Cati Hayden, nieces Lilian Walker & Mary Mattingly and nephew J.T. Mattingly. The family will receive friends for Britany’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with a Funeral Service at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Chapel Leonardtown, MD. Interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Collegeamerica C/O Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 270, Leonardtown, MD 20650
