Christopher Michael "Chris" Kemp

Christopher Michael Kemp, “Chris”, 42, of Avenue, MD, passed away on November 18, 2024, at his home. Born on May 31, 1982, in Leonardtown, MD, he was the son of Beth Yates of Avenue, MD and the late Robbie Bennett. In addition to his mother, Chris is survived by his sisters, Amanda Kemp and Katie Yate, both of Avenue, MD. Chris was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident and attended Chopticon High School. He worked as a carpenter and a plumber. A Life Celebration will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to Holy Angels Catholic Church, 21340 Colton Point Road, Avenue, MD 20609.
