Connie Marie Beasley

Connie Marie Beasley, 62, of Mechanicsville, MD formerly from Hollywood, MD passed away on February 14, 2020 in Callaway, MD. Born on May 24, 1957 in Leonardtown, MD, she was the loving daughter of the late Mary Anne Jarboe Bassford and William F. Bassford. Connie was the loving wife of James R. Beasley whom she married on December 27, 1996 in Leonardtown, MD. Connie is survived by her children Larry Bassford of Leonardtown, MD and J. Ryan Beasley of Mechanicsville, MD. Siblings William (Bill) Bassford and Michael Bassford both of Hollywood, MD. She was preceded in death by her siblings Charles Bassford, Ronnie Bassford, and Cathy Bassford.
She was a lifelong St. Mary’s County, MD resident. Connie graduated from Chopticon High School in 1975 and received her Associates degree from the College of Southern Maryland. She was an Acquisitions specialist with Naval Air Station Patuxent River PMA- 201 for 21 years, until retiring in March of 2018. Connie enjoyed her greenhouse in the springtime and loved to garden.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 10:00 Am to 11:00 AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home Leonardtown, MD. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 Am in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Paul McPherson officiating. Interment will be private.

Connie my cousin I knew you were not well the last time I saw you. I will treasure this memory for years to come. My thoughts and prayers are with your family who I’m sure are already missing you. Rip lovely. No more pain or fighting anymore. Love you and will miss you
RIP Connie you were a good friend to me and we had lots of good times growing up. So sorry Larry for the loss of your mom. She had a good heart. Prayers are coming your way.
