“Fay, My deepest condolences on the loss of your mom. For all those years that she worked at the library I will always remember her great smile and the many times she helped me find the right book for a school project. She made going to the library a real pleasure and I know that she will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. May God bless you and your family during this difficult time.”
“Melanie and family, So sadden of your loss. I always will have fond memories of your Mom at the library. I saw her about two years ago and I shared some stories of our days when we worked at Gino’s. Oh gosh, did we laugh. God Bless you all .”
“Fay,Tommy,& Melly, I am going to miss Aunt Daisy so much. She is such a part of both childhood and my adult memories–from visiting her in Baltimore to family picnics. And oh, her coconut cake!!! She also became a very special part of Jennifer’s and Mitchell’s childhoods when a visit back to Hollywood also meant fun at and with Aunt Daisy. I will never forget how much help and support she gave us when Mom was ill. I am so sorry we will miss the services but we are in Denver visiting Jennifer until next week. Aunt Daisy was one-of-a-kind.She had a special place in our hearts. “
“Our heart goes out to the family, our prayers and thoughts will be with you. Mrs. Pegg was always a beautiful and gracious lady from the time our bunch would invade her for sleepovers until we would visit as adults. She always had a sweet smile for everyone. The world was a better place because of her. Kathy, Louis, Steve & Chris and Katie B.”
“Fay, My prayers are with you and your family. Stay strong and put your “Faith” and “Trust” in God and he will get you through this. God Bless You Jim Purdy Nashville, TN”

“Dear Fay, Melanie & Tom, Since I was a little girl and my Aunt Mavis took me to visit your Mom, I remember she always had a smile and was happy to see me, Fay, I remember you the most as LaVerne and I would see you once in a while. I know this is a very sad time for all of you.. My Dad, Henry Sweeney always said the young will go, but the old must go. Its wonderful to know if we serve the Lord someday we will meet again! “Dear Fay, Tommy and Melanie, We will miss your Mom, a sweet , kind lady. She and Dorothy Kidd did our bookeeping and secretarial work for many years at The Tackle Box. They kept us straight and offered valuable motherly advice. I always looked for her driving by the house, and stopped to talk if she was outside gardening. She always had something uplifting to say and brightened my day. Ken and Linda Lamb”

“Melly–I was saddened to hear of your mom’s passing and didn’t hear until after the services. I lost my mom the same way. It’s definitely a unique loss and one that’s difficult to bear, no matter how prepared we think we are or how ‘old’ we are :). But I know for certain you have many, many wonderful memories of your mom and family times. Hopefully that, coupled with your faith will help ease the grieving process. You are in my thoughts/prayers. “
